The brand was founded by Gabor Nemeth, a Hungarian designer and entrepreneur who relocated to Malta in 2023. Surrounded by Malta’s rich culture, warm light, and the unique atmosphere of the islands, he found inspiration in the contrast between historic textures and modern Mediterranean living.

This blend of influences is reflected in every LUNQO piece — clean, contemporary forms balanced with a sense of warmth and calm inspired by the islands’ natural light, architecture, and colors.
